Chelsea Chairman and Co-Owner Todd Boehly spoke again in public last Wednesday, in a one on one interview at the Qatar Economic Forum, who were discussing Investment In Sports. He spent a lot of time discussing Chelsea and gave the most comprehensive public overview yet of the ownerships’ plans for our club. I thought as with the recent Sportico comments, it was worth examining the key points and what they mean, and what this might look like for Chelsea.

Lately life has been chaotic and a little aimless, so Andy and I did what all people do when they hit a slump— packed up the car to go winter camping. The slump has been mostly West Coast related. Truth is, we don’t love it out here. When we moved to Washington, we thought it we would connect with a lot of people like us, working guiding jobs and freelancing. On Monday night, Greg Gard and the Wisconsin Badgers basketball program welcomed head coach Bryan Hodgson & his Arkansas State team to the Kohl Center for the season opener.  The Badgers, who took the lead 20 seconds into the game, never looked back and walked away with a convincing 105-76 win over the Red Wolves while setting a new Kohl Center scoring record. When Wisconsin football head coach Luke Fickell decided to hire Phil Longo as the offensive coordinator, most thought the Badgers had hit a home run. The jury's still out, but year one left something to be desired considering the team’s sizable investment in the air raid disciple. FootballScoop reported that Longo is earning $1.25 million annually, ranking him as the 13th highest-paid offensive coordinator in the nation. Longo enters his second season with the Badgers and hopes to build on a challenging first year for the Wisconsin football program.

Intended to celebrate Disney’s 100th anniversary, Wish tries to evoke the heart and depth of classic animation movies. But the movie feels flat and sterile, like a corporate board of directors workshopped a story to promote themselves.
